About The Captain

Captain Derek has been fishing the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys for 10 years. Specializing in family fishing trips, our goal is to make memories and catch lots of fish.

WAFI Sport Fishing is a 2006 31ft Stamas Center Console powered by a single 310hp Yanmar Diesel. Cruising at 20kts It is a wide stable boat that handles sea conditions extremely well.

The boat’s namesake will be fishing on most days. Wafi is a stellar 1st mate, loves people, and loves fishing more than most people I know.

WAFI Sport Fishing will provide all tackle, bait, and chum. We also provide water and a cooler with ice. If you would like anything else you need to supply it.

WAFI Sport Fishing is a fishing vessel. There is no bathroom on board. There is a restroom located at the marina for customer use before we depart. If the urge arises there is a bucket.

A 20% deposit is required at time of booking.

If the customer cancels at the dock the 20% deposit is non-refundable.

No call no show will be charged the full price of the trip.

Cancelation due to weather. Rescheduling or Refund of the trip will occur.
